The Owyhee river from Rome, Oregon to Birch Creek is a 5 day minimum float trip. There are no roads for almost 49 miles, there is no cell service, no internet connection....no people!
Most of the whitewater outfitters choose to stop running the Owyhee at around 1000 cfs. The trip you are viewing was run at about 166 cfs. Yes, there are times when we get hung up on the rock gardens, yes, at times we walk around the class iv waters, and yes we have fun, and catch smallmouth bass. We have done 3 exploratory trips and would like to take those adventurous folks that want a true back country experience with lots of fun, and lots of bass. Tell us what you think...
